Adidas Apparel
The Adidas brand was established by Adolf Dassler and his older brother Rudolf, in their mum's house during the 1920s, where they focussed on producing more effective running shoes. Jesse Owen famously wore some of their first editions during the 1936 Olympics. The brothers parted ways in the 1940s when Rudolf established Puma. In 1952, Adidas purchased the rights to use the famous "three stripes logo" from another sports company for 1,600 Euros and 2 bottles of whiskey!
