Puma Apparel

The Puma brand was established by Rudolf Dassler in 1948 when he and his older brother Adolf disagreed on the direction of their sportswear company. What was once named Ruda, Puma is now the third largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. Puma is also one of the biggest suppliers of football shirts, including Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, Marseille and AC Milan to name a few. Jesse Owen famously wore some of their first edition running shoes during the 1936 Olympics before the company split into Puma and Adidas.
